Exam Malpractics

Sometimes, I find it difficult to believe when I am being told that Lecturers of Higher Institutions, request money from students to upgrade their scores. Who then do we blame, the lecturers or the students?

A second year student of Business Administration would rather blame the government, for not paying the lecturers adequately. She claimed that teachers needed money to fuel their tanks and take good care of their families. That, I think is her point of view. Some others blamed the students who wouldn't sit and face their studies.

Samuel Umez of the department of Food Science Technology, admitted that lecturers intentionally fail students and therefore estort money from such students. In other words, he is sugesting that it doesn't matter whether a student studies hard or not. Rather, all that matter is whether the lecturer is broke or not.

Now, who has actually taken into consideration the negetive effects of such activities to the enviroment? "It makes me sad when I come across graduates who cannot write an application letter" Victoria lamented. She went ahead to complain bitterly about the way lecturers in her department - Industrial Chemistry, fail students to collect money from them.

Two weeks ago, a second year student of accounting at the Enugu State University of Science and Technology was arrested robbing on the high way. Who knows what led him into that? Could it be that he was trying to raise money to sought a particular course?

I think Nigeria really has a long way to go. It takes the youths, I and you, the future leaders to put a stop to this. What are your contributions? I can't really wait to hear from you.

ESUT NAAS:BREAKING NEW GROUNDS!!!!

The gist is everywhere. The first of its kind is about to take place in ESUT. Guys thought it was a joke while some ladies doubted it until the banners and stickers were seen all over the campus.
The very first evangelism/ music concert organised by the Adventist Students Fellowship, ESUT chapter has been scheduled to commence on the 13th through 16th of August 2008. Guess what?, The strongest acappella team is coming around all the way from Port-Harcourt, and I mean the Crystal Cords. Wow! Who then would want to miss out???
All major singing groups and Choirs in ESUT and neighbouring higher institutions are coming to showcase in this music concerts right at the campus cafeteria. Dudes like Stanley, Ben, Roland, Kenneth, Samuel, Alex and many others are working pretty hard to ensure that everything is under control.
Have I let it out that the Just Five praise team will be ever present throughout the programme? I have decided never to miss out in this fun filled music concert. I don't know about you. If you love your life, you must love music. And if you love music, you must come around.
